Bradley Southard Apprehended

On Sunday morning at around 0200, we were called to a disturbance at a residence outside of Marshfield. Deputies observed a stolen vehicle parked out front. Deputies were informed the suspect of the stolen vehicle was inside the residence.
Deputies went to contact the suspect and a scuffle ensued inside while trying to apprehend the suspect. He was able to exit the residence and get away.
On Wednesday at around 0830, a deputy observed the suspect driving a vehicle. A short pursuit occurred inside the city of Marshfield and the suspect was able to evade the deputy.
At around 1030 on Wednesday, we received a call regarding the suspect's whereabouts in the City of Niangua area. Deputies located the suspect vehicle and a brief pursuit started. The suspect bailed out of the vehicle in Niangua and a foot pursuit started. A perimeter was set up and the suspect was able to steal a truck from a residence which initiated another vehicle pursuit. This pursuit went from Niangua and ended after the truck slammed into a guardrail at the intersection of Brinkley Rd and Plank School Road. The suspect then fled the vehicle and another foot pursuit was initiated.
A perimeter was set up and we requested assistance from MSHP for a plane and K9's from Laclede County to assist deputies with locating the suspect in a heavily wooded area off Brinkley Road.
Deputies were unable to locate the suspect during this search and the search ended at around 1700.
Deputies then received information the suspect was inside a residence in Marshfield. Deputies went to the location and apprehended the suspect without incident. The suspect was hiding in the shower.
The suspect is Bradley Southard and he was wanted for a parole violation along with tampering with a motor vehicle and resisting arrest. Southard is also facing additional charges as the investigation continues.
At no time during this search was there a danger to the community.
