We at the Webster County Sheriff’s Office want to wish everyone a Happy and Safe Independence Day this Fourth of July. We hope that you will join us in celebrating our independence and the freedoms we enjoy each day at some of the various events being held throughout Webster County in the next few days.
Join us at the courthouse on the first floor as we unveil the Remember the Fallen moving memorial wall to Webster County. http://rememberingourfallen.org/ . It will be on display from July 4th thru July 9th. President Ronald Reagan said, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected and handed on for them to do the same." We owe these defenders of freedom, from the Iraqi and Afghanistan wars, our gratitude as we celebrate our nation's independence this week.
